![]() ![]() Losing accuracy is not a big deal, all i need is a simple surface from the main one so i can create a decent modeling on infraworks) My project has something like 2m points. And to realign parts that belong together, use. So, if you ever import a file that contains multiple pieces, use the Separate Connected Surfaces feature to split them up so you can work with each part independently. Now they are aligned so they will print properly. ![]() cropped surface didnt work because it freezes my pc, deleting a few points at a time takes too long cause it laggs my pc aswell. So, we select both models, go to Edit and choose Align Selected Model Origins. (I have a not so good pc, so i'm trying to find a way to decrease drastically the number of points from my project. Is it possible to extract a new surface from the remaining points of a Simplified Surface? I did a few tests by pasting this new low-points-surface into a new one, and when i checked on Simplify Wizard those points showed were the remaining one from the Simplified Surface, but i tried to export this new Surface as a XML and it didnt work, all those previously removed points were there. Been reading a few things about Simplify Surface, but there is something that i would like to know that could save me.
